WELCOME TO ISABC PRO-D AT ST. GEORGE'S SCHOOL

The Independent School Association of British Columbia welcomes more than 11,000 students annually to 22 member schools. ISABC has a long-standing tradition of providing outstanding learning experiences for young people of British Columbia and beyond.

Please be aware that we are running 60-, 90-, and 120-minute sessions this year. Be sure to check the start and end times of the sessions as you build your schedule.

Take your students out to explore their back yard!

We will share about an engaging Place-Based Education project we have been running in our middle school and give time to collaborate about other environmental education projects that are currently happening or could be happening in your school.

Place-Based Education Outcomes:
• stronger local environmental and community ties
• connection to global social and environmental issues
• opportunity for integrated curriculum

Participants will:
• learn about Place-Based Education.
• hear about Collingwood's 'Capilano Watershed Project'.
• think about potential projects for their schools.
